Fishing

For fishermen there are a number of fishing operators in Tutukaka and the area boasts some of the best game fishing in New Zealand during the summer and autumn months.
You simply cannot come to the Tutukaka Coast and not travel out to the Poor Knights Islands. And you don’t need to be a diver, you can just enjoy the scenery or snorkel amongst clouds of friendly fish.
